About Kaiser Angus
Trailblazing a Legacy
For over 25 years, Darrell and Frina Kaiser of Kaiser Angus have dedicated themselves to raising high-quality registered Angus seed-stock, building a legacy of excellence in the cattle industry. Their journey began in Gove County, Kansas, where Darrell returned in 1994 after attending Kansas State University to help on his family’s farm and backgrounding lot. With agriculture and cattle in his blood, Darrell and Frina soon began building their own cow-calf operation.
The transition to registered Angus started in 1997 through a partnership with Frina’s aunt and uncle, Bob and Barbara Chenoweth of B&B Angus in Colorado. Over several years, the Kaisers gradually integrated B&B genetics into their herd while retaining foundation females, carefully selecting traits that would stand the test of time.
Kaiser Angus began with private treaty sales in 2000 and held their first production sale in 2001 at Oakley Livestock Commission. In 2013, they moved their April sale to their ranch south of Park and embraced online sales through DVAuction, expanding their reach to customers across numerous states.
Today, the Kaisers combine modern breeding technologies, including gene marking and genomic testing, with decades of experience to select genetics that deliver both performance and longevity. Their goal isn’t just producing excellent cattle—it’s crafting a legacy of animals that will thrive for generations. Alongside their three sons, Luke (wife Zoe), Dalton (Courtney), and Trevor (Halle) , Darrell and Frina continue to serve their customers with dedication, knowledge, and a passion for quality Angus cattle.
